Biography
Dr. Sameh Abdel-Naby started working for CLARITY from June 2011. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the RUBICON project, which is an EU-FP7 project coordinated by Prof. Gregory O'Hare.
From November 2009 to April 2011 Dr. Sameh worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Fundamental Computer Science Research (LIFL) and a member of the SMAC Group (Multi-Agent Systems &
Behaviours) of the Lille University of Science and Technology, France.Dr. Sameh received his PhD from the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at the University of Trento, Trento, Italy. The title of his PhD thesis is "A Nomadicity-driven Negotiation Protocol, Tactics and Strategies for Interacting Software Agents", which was advised by Prof. Paolo Giorgini and defended in the attendance of Prof. Marie-Pierre Gleizes, Prof. Andrea Omicini, and Prof. Aldo Franco Dragoni.
In November 2004, Dr. Sameh received his Master's degree in Management in the Network Economy from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy. And, in August 2002, Dr. Sameh completed his five-year B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Modern Academy for Computer Science, Cairo, Egypt.
From 2005 to 2008, Dr. Sameh worked as an ICT Scientific Researcher at ARS LOGICA that is a private sector ICT research laboratory in Trento, Italy. In 2004, Dr. Sameh also worked as a Business Developer at the R&D labs of SIEMENS Mobile Communications, Milan, Italy. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Sameh worked as a Senior Account Manager at LINKdotNET that is a multinational subsidiary of Orascom Telecom.
