Opportunities Day 2010

The School of Computer Science and Informatics will host its annual Opportunities Day 2010 on the Friday the 14th of May. As the name suggests this event is an opportunity for graduating students to showcase their project work, and for companies to network and raise their profile amongst our students.
Many of the project outputs on display are potentially commercialisable as they focus on cutting-edge research areas that the School has specific strengths in such as digital forensics, data mining and visualisation, text, speech and video analytics, bioinformatics, robotics, gaming, web technologies and mobile applications. We invite you to attend and experience the next generation of computing technologies from both the perspective of our staff and students and from industry leaders, specifically Dave Burke, an Engineering Manager at Google, who will present an invited talk on Mobile @ Google.
To register for this event, please sign up through LinkedIn or email Nicola Stokes at . The event will be held in UCD’s School of Computer Science and Informatics (http://www.csi.ucd.ie/directions).
